I review EA's Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3. I re-installed the game and I still find it sucks. Oh well. Acer Aspire 5920 running Supreme Commander timedemo. Those of you unfamiliar with Supreme Commander should know it's one of the best games for benchmarking because it's so cpu and gpu intensive: benchmarkreviews.com Supreme Commander requires at least a 1.8ghz cpu, 512 MB RAM, 128MB video RAM or greater. Recommended specs are 3.0 GHz, 1GB RAM, and 256 MB Video RAM forums.gaspowered.com So to get a 32fps average on a laptop is very good. Also actual gameplay is much faster since timedemos are designed to stress hardware to the max and actual gameplay rarely reaches the same levels. I went ahead and made sure the laptop was in the video so you could see it's really the Acer 5920. Falcon87 www.youtube.com I've been playing both Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and the Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 Expansion: Yuri's Revenge since their release dates back in 2000 and 2001, when Westwood studios was still around. I still enjoy a good game on these two titles, but it's been a long time since I've played either of them, so I was surprised I wasn't rusty at all when I did play them. As mentioned in a few videos earlier, I will be formatting my PC soon, but I got a request from DT and Falcon87 to play the games with them. So, I figured why not play a few games? If someone told me they never had the chance to play these two video games on the PC, I would still recommend picking them up to people, because both the game and the expansion pack is worth every penny. Well, it was fun and I enjoyed wreaking havoc on a constructed base one last time.

The first trailer of Red Alert 3's most secret faction: The Empire of the Rising Sun (Japan/EotRS for short). 4 Units are highlighted (in order): - Mecha* Tengu/ Jet Tengu: A transforming Air Superiority Fighter. In ground mode, its good Anti-Personnel. In Japanese folklore, a Tengu is a half man, half bird creature. - King Oni: Massive assault Mech* that fires a powerful laser and can "Bull-rush", crushing whole buildings! This unit too can be traced back to Japanese folklore. They are large creatures similar to western trolls and demons. - Sky Wing/Sea Wing: A Gunship/bomber that can dive in the water (to avoid fighters, and AA). - Tsunami Tank: the EotRS amphibious tank. *Note: for those not familiar with the term Mecha/Mech, it means that those units are robots/robot-like (in this trailer. literary: mechanical).
