Red Alert 3 on a Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz 15"
A video to show how Red Alert 3 runs on the Apple Macbook Pro 2.4 ghz (version 3,1). The Macbook Pro is running Windows XP Pro in Bootcamp and the specs of the machine are: 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo (santa rosa - merom) 15.4 inch 4GB ram DDR2 667Mhz 160 GB 7200 RPM HD geforce 8600M 256 DDR3 VRAM Average FPS 30 The Settings are 1440x900 resolution, you need this to get a nice tactical overview of the battleground. And settings put to Medium with the VFX on High. It runs like a charm this way even in big battles and mass destruction weapons. As soon as u start cranking up the settings to High on this resolution you notice a drop in FPS during heavy fighting and weapons of mass destruction. Song: was by (youtube banned this song) Krwlng (Mike Shinoda feat. Aaron Lewis) by Linkin Park so now it's A Sad State of Affairs by His Boy Elroy

Advent 4211 / MSI Wind - Game Red Alert 3
This video is of my Advent 4211 (upgarded to bios 1.09 which includes a overclock feature to increse the processor speed by 24% - this has been enabled for this vid) playing Red Alert 3 with all video settings set to Low and resolution to 800 x 600. You will have to patient with the video as this game takes ages to load the main menu around 2 minutes. It is a bit slow but its playable (frame rate of between 13-15 fps - as per fraps)

Red Alert 3 - Intro to the Basics (Tutorial Mission 1)
Higher quality: ca.youtube.com Heheh. I recorded this because I found it to be quite amusing. You still have to do the same old stuff as in other RTS games that have tutorials but this one's got some comedy to lighten up the mood. ^-^ Sadly, the novelty/general fun feel of the tutorial missions kind of wane as you progress through them. Due to limited space on all my drives at the moment, I had to record this at a smaller resolution (800x600 and then further reduced for youtube). Otherwise, I would have kept it at the native monitor res of 1280x1024. :/ (No widescreen since this thing is like 5 years old. D:) The game looks quite nice with Ultra High global settings on a high screen res. :D Mmmmm. I love the first tune that plays whenever you load up the game (the one that you partially hear in the video). I think there's a total of 4 different tracks that plays if you leave it on the menu screen long enough. (There seems to be 2 different versions of Hell March. :O Well, one is Hell March 3.) Otherwise, you can go into the Credits screen and immediately exit it to trigger the other tracks. (Er, that's how I do it. I'm sure there are other ways like going into other menu screens. :P)

Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising on Radeon HD 4890 (HD)
Here's Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising running on my ATI Radeon HD 4890. The sound recorded was messed up so I decided to put some music over it. Settings are maxed out at a resolution of 1440 x 900 with full AA (Anti Aliasing) on. Steady 30 or 60 (I don't remember what the FPS cap was) so it was either a steady 30 or 60 fps. The game was recorded at 30 fps.
