First off, I made a mistake: -Uprising WILL HAVE TRADITIONAL SKIRMISH MODE, so you will be able to play agianst the AI with the new units that have been added to each of the 3 factions. We're also adding a huge number of new maps. While this expansion add-on has a huge central focus on single player, we were able to incorporate traditional skirmish. See below for further explanation. And now for some more consolidation: -The Commander's Challenge which features over 50 different scenarios is very similar to the General's Challenge Mode. It is not, and I repeat not simply an achievement based mode. This is an entirely seperate component of Uprising comprised of over 50 different challenges which are almost like mini-missions with different objectives and challenges. -While Red Alert 3 base game is still in its infancy, its important to us to continually give the game strong support with patches, tournaments, etc as it continues to evolve. Our objective with Uprising was not to quickly add a 4th faction to online play. We decided we would try something new and create a campaign expansion that delivered on exactly what many in the community asked for in our research - new UNIITS AND STORY. This video shows surveillance footage of the Harbinger Gunship's (Allies) primary and secondary combat functions. Battlefield reconnaissance has revealed at least these facts about the Harbinger Gunship: • The Collider Cannons -- Packing the power of the Proton Collider, the Collider Cannon can decimate enemy armor divisions and facilities. The first shot from the Collider Cannon is almost always on target, though subsequent rounds tend to stray slightly due to overheating and recoil. Even still, the ensuing explosive blast makes pinpoint accuracy unimportant (and impossible). • The nose-mounted chain gun -- If and when a Harbinger needs to "mop up" a situation, or is tasked with eliminating high-priority targets on foot, it can switch to the 25 mm Eliminator chain gun to get the job done. What the chain gun lacks in overall firepower, it makes up for with deadly precision and an extreme rate of fire. • Remaining in orbit -- One quirk of the Harbinger gunship is that it must remain perpetually in motion, even while attacking. And because its Collider Cannons are mounted on the starboard side, it specifically tends to fly clockwise during firing runs. Consequently, the Harbinger may expose itself to considerable anti-aircraft fire when used in an assault. • Worth its weight in ore -- The Harbinger gunship is far and away the most expensive element in the Allied arsenal, with a ticket price greater than even that of an aircraft carrier. Battlefield reconnaissance has revealed at least these facts about the Wave-Force Artillery: • Wave-Force Technology -- This artillery piece's Wave-Force technology is used to generate a tremendous beam of energy. The beam maintains its focus and power over long ranges, allowing the Wave-Force to bring immense destruction down upon any forces caught in the blast. • Firing Options -- The variable setting capacitors allow the Wave-Force to fire at different energy settings. Crews are under order to always fire at max-capacitance unless otherwise instructed, and at full-blast, the beam has a truly devastating effect on targets. Alternatively, a higher rate of fire can be maintained by firing the weapon before the capacitors are fully charged, allowing a quicker series of less-powerful bursts. • The Demolitions Expert -- The Wave-Force is ideally suited to destroying enemy structures, base defenses, and slow-moving vehicles. It is very vulnerable to anti-armor infantry and ground-attack aircraft, so Imperial commanders often bring it in to clean up after the enemy forces have been scattered.
